Google Cloud needed a more efficient, integrated way to manage projects with its global clients. The solution had to streamline workflows and foster collaboration in one seamless workspace.

I designed a platform that connects teams using the full power of Google Workspace—Meet, Mail, Drive, and more—creating a fully collaborative environment. By rethinking how teams work with Google Cloud, it set a new benchmark for cloud-based project management and collaboration between Google and its customers.

To ensure the platform felt like a true collaboration from the start, I designed the onboarding invites to be co-branded with both Google and the customer’s logos. Each invite included a welcome message and a QR code to help customers quickly get started. This approach not only made them feel like part of the team but also built excitement for their new joint venture with Google Cloud.

On many projects between Google Cloud and its customers, the customer may not yet be using Google’s products and services in their everyday workflows, which can create a barrier to collaboration. This new platform removes that barrier by giving the customer’s project team access to everything they need, all in one place. It enables seamless, efficient collaboration between both Google and the customer while also offering a preview of what’s to come as the customer expands Google’s capabilities company-wide.

The platform is designed with modular UI components, allowing users to fully customise their dashboards. They can arrange windows, widgets, and tools to suit their individual needs, creating a workspace that works best for them. This flexibility empowers users to organise their tasks, streamline their workflows, and personalise their experience, ensuring maximum productivity and a seamless user experience.
